Refund Policy

We at Legacy Mobile DNA strive to deliver accurate, timely, and reliable DNA testing services to our clients. We understand that circumstances may arise prompting questions about refunds. Please review our refund policy below:

1. No Refunds After Sample Collection
Once a DNA sample has been collected and is in transit to or has been delivered to our laboratory, we cannot issue a refund. Our testing process begins immediately upon receipt of the sample. Resources, including lab materials and technician labor, are allocated to ensure efficient and accurate results. Consequently, no refunds will be provided after this point.

2. Refunds Prior to Sample Collection
If you choose to cancel your appointment before the DNA sample is collected, you may be eligible for a refund. Please note:

  • Cancellation Notification: You must notify Legacy Mobile DNA in writing (via email or a written request) at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Please note, when this is done you will not incur any service fee.
  • Same-Day Cancellations: Appointments canceled on the day of service will incur a $75 service fee.

  • Processing Fees: Any applicable processing, administrative, or travel fees may be deducted from your refund. The final refund amount will be communicated to you once we review your cancellation request.

3. Missed Appointments and Late Cancellations
If you fail to appear for a scheduled appointment or cancel less than 24 hours before the agreed appointment time, you will be subject to a cancellation fee of $75.  This fee covers administrative and logistical costs incurred by Legacy Mobile DNA and will be deducted from any refund you may be entitled to or may be charged separately if you have not paid in full.

4. Rescheduling Appointments
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request without additional fees. However, repeated rescheduling or late notifications may incur an administrative fee.

5. Payment Disputes
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged or have any billing-related concerns, please contact us immediately. We will review the matter internally and, if an error is found on our part, we will issue an appropriate credit or refund.

6. Final Determinations
All refunds and cancellations are subject to Legacy Mobile DNA’s final review. We reserve the right to deny any refund request if it does not meet the criteria outlined in this policy.
