Legacy Mobile DNA, located in Houston, Texas with regional offices in Maryland, provides mobile DNA testing services, including but not limited to paternity, sibling, grandparent, and other family relationship DNA tests. We coordinate mobile appointments, collect samples in compliance with accredited laboratory standards, and deliver testing results through our affiliated labs. We do not provide legal advice or medical diagnoses.
2. No Attorney-Client or Medical-Patient Relationship
Our services do not constitute legal or medical services. We are not a law firm, medical facility, or healthcare provider. The information provided by Legacy Mobile DNA is strictly for informational purposes and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional legal or medical counsel. You are encouraged to seek guidance from appropriate professionals regarding any legal, medical, or health-related concerns.
3. Accuracy and Reliability of Results
While we partner with accredited laboratories and adhere to stringent chain-of-custody protocols, Legacy Mobile DNA does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any test results. DNA testing, though highly reliable, has inherent limitations. The interpretation of results is your sole responsibility. Legacy Mobile DNA and its affiliates are not liable for any decisions or actions you take based on the information provided.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information as requested and to promptly update any information if it changes.
- Proper Use of Results: You agree that test results are for personal informational use only, unless a legally admissible test is specifically requested and conducted in compliance with applicable standards.
- Compliance with Law: You are responsible for ensuring that any testing and use of results are in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
5. Appointment Scheduling and Mobile Collection
Legacy Mobile DNA offers flexible scheduling for sample collection at a location convenient to you. While we strive to meet agreed-upon appointment times, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays or rescheduling. We will make reasonable efforts to inform you of any changes. You acknowledge that any requested rescheduling by you must be communicated as soon as possible.
6. Fees and Payment
Fees for our services will be presented to you at the time of scheduling or upon request. Payment is due before or at the time of sample collection, unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change our pricing and payment terms at any time without notice, but changes will not affect fees for services already rendered or currently scheduled under existing agreements.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
All sales are final. Refunds are not provided once samples are collected and submitted to the laboratory. If you wish to cancel before the sample collection, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to a scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee. Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion.
8. Confidentiality and Privacy
We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality in handling personal and genetic information.
